One bedroom suite with a king bed, living room, kitchen, and private bath on the 3rd floor of a historic home located in the heart of the Short North on Goodale Park, a 34 acre urban oasis steps away from the Short North Arts District. The suite is approx 1,500 sf. The historic Victorian style home is conveniently located a short walk from High Street with all of its shopping, restaurants, and nightlife, as well as a short walk to the Convention Center, North Market, and Arena District.

The fully renovated historic Victorian home was built in 1890 and overlooks beautiful Goodale Park, a 34 acre urban oasis steps away from the Short North. The suite is a 3rd floor, one bedroom walk-up with a king size bed and private bathroom with shower. The fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, granite counter tops, ice maker, pots/pans, dishes, and utensils as well as a Keurig coffee maker. There is a 85" television with various complementary streaming services. iPhone charger, Qi wireless charger, USB outlets, bottled water, and snacks are also provided. The fully air conditioned suite has views of both Goodale Park and downtown Columbus. The house is 2 blocks from High Street and a less than 10 minute walk (1/2 mile) to the Greater Columbus Convention Center and the North Market. The Arena District, Nationwide Arena, and Express Live are a 15 minute walk. The Ohio State University and Downtown Columbus can be reached by car in 5 minutes, and the airport in 10 minutes. The Short North Arts District is the most vibrant spot in the City of Columbus and is home to over 300 exciting businesses, the majority of which are locally owned or headquartered. It has received numerous national accolades, is considered a model for urban revitalization, and is known as the art and soul of Columbus. Goodale Park is a 33 acre urban oasis steps away from the carriage house. You will find walking paths, a pond, fountain, tennis courts, picnic tables, etc. The North Market with is also short walk away and is a great place to check out various types of vendors as well many options for dining.

Guest Access

Entrance is through front door with keypad access on lock. The third floor contains the private bedroom, bathroom as well as a living area and kitchen which are separate from the main living room and kitchen on the first floor. Access is through main part of the house, it is not a private entrance. There is a locking door for the 3rd floor and the space is completely private.

This home is, clean, gorgeous and has fun style! The garden spaces are incredibly beautiful. The owner’s hard work and diligence towards both greatly shows. We definitely will look for availability the next time we are in Columbus and we highly recommend!

This place is dope. Walkable to great restaurants and a concert venue (which was our purpose in coming to Columbus). The flat is part of a gorgeous house across from a beautiful park. Ended up staying in the bnb more than anticipated during our visit to watch sports on the giant TV. Jeff was responsive to questions and helpful. Will definitely look to see if this place is available for our next Columbus adventure.

Although the pictures were beautiful, even they did not capture how gorgeous it is. And, being situated right across from the park and a short walk from High Street only added to our positive experience. Finally, Jeff could not have been more welcoming nor more responsive. He was always ready with an answer to our questions, and he took every step to ensure we would have a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We hope to be able to stay here again soon!

Jeff was an absolutely lovely host! He was proactive about all communication around navigating check in, parking, etc. The unit was also beautiful! I loved all the local artwork and the space was bright and airy and felt homey right away! I will be coming back to Jeff’s place anytime I visit Columbus:)

This was our second time staying at Jeff's. It is a perfect place for seeing what Columbus has to offer. The area has lots of restaurants, shopping and night life in just a few minutes walk. The unit is spacious , beautiful, and comfortable, with all amenities.

Wow, just WOW! Our stay was absolutely incredible, and it all started with our host, who was hands down the friendliest, most welcoming person we've ever met! Seriously, they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was spot-on perfect, making it super easy to explore everything we wanted to see. And the vibes? Immaculate! Every corner of the place just radiated good energy. We had such a blast and made so many amazing memories! If you're looking for a place with an amazing host, a fantastic location, and all-around wonderful vibes, look no further. We can't recommend it enough! Five stars aren't enough!

Very responsive host, right across from a gorgeous park, and walkable distance to a great local taco shop. Felt right at home everything was easy to access and the layout was super unique. Some great art pieces really added to the space and it was incredibly comfortable. Loved everything about the space and environment overall. Would recommend!

We have stayed here many times and it is truly a 10 out of 10. I would give it more stars if I could. The house is in a perfect location; close enough to the Short North (2 blocks) yet in an idyllic setting across from a stunning park. The space is spacious and comfortable and impeccably decorated and designed. The beds are comfortable, there is a spacious living room with a giant TV and amazing sound system. And… it is spotless. Can’t say enough good things. It is an incredibly beautiful home! Thank you Jeff for being such a great host!

The neighborhood is very walkable. There is also the COTA bus system which runs on High Street as well as Uber, Lyft, and CoGo bike share. The house is conveniently located near access to I-71, I-670, I-315. The airport is only a 10 minute drive away.
