Welcome to the Goodale Park Carriage House located by the beautiful Goodale Park, a 34 acre urban oasis steps away from the Short North Arts District. The apartment is a comfortable 2nd floor, one bedroom walk-up with cathedral ceilings and large windows for natural light. The carriage house is conveniently located a short walk from High Street with all of its shopping, restaurants, and nightlife, as well as a short walk to the Convention Center, North Market, and Arena District.

Good to know

The carriage house is a 2nd floor, one bedroom walk-up with a queen size bed and sleeper sofa (see floor plan in the pictures). The fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, granite counter tops, ice maker, pots/pans, dishes, and utensils as well as a Keurig coffee maker and washer/dryer. There is a 50" television with Roku and several complimentary streaming services. An wireless charger, USB outlets, bottled water, and snacks are also provided. The fully air conditioned apartment has a lot windows for natural light and ventilation on nice days. There are also ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. The carriage house is 2 blocks from High Street and the Short North Arts District as well as a less than 10 minute walk to the Greater Columbus Convention Center and the North Market. The Arena District, Nationwide Arena, and Express Live are an easy 15 minute walk. The Ohio State University and Downtown Columbus can be reached by car in 5 minutes or by walking or using public transportation, and the airport in 10 minutes.

Electric vehicle and Tesla charging is located nearby in the Convention Center garage as well as several charging spaces located near Goodale Park.

Guest Access

You will have full and private access to carriage house's 2nd floor apartment through separate and private exterior entrance. Parking is available on the street using a virtual permit parking pass that will be provided for your use during your stay. Access to the carriage is through an electronic smart lock.

We loved our two night stay at the Carriage House. It is a beautiful, very clean, place and it is perfect for two people. The location is very walkable to many delicious restaurants and beautiful Goodale Park. The surrounding Victorian homes are so much fun to admire. Jeff was a very responsive host and he had snacks and drinks for us that we appreciated. Parking was easy. We would highly recommend staying at his Carriage House. Dave and Kim from Indianapolis

This was a great place to stay especially if you are attending something at the Convention Center. It was just a 15 minute walk through Goodale Park to get to the Center. The house is cozy and in a good neighbor hood. Parking is free, and Jeff is a great host. I would happily stay here again by myself or with my wife.

Our stay at The Short North Carriage House was wonderful! Jeff's place is very comfortable, super clean, well-equipped and beautifully decorated with art from local artists. The carriage house is in a very walkable, fun neighborhood with restaurants, bars and a supermarket nearby. Parking was easy and readily available. We highly recommend The Short North Carriage House and look forward to our next stay.

Everything about this Airbnb is wonderful. We stayed here because my daughter had a volleyball tournament at the convention center. It was a 10 minute walk through a beautiful park to get to the convention center. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely. Two block walk to pharmacy and groceries. Five or six block walk to a High Street with many dining options. The place is spotless. Very well appointed for cooking and dining in which we did all weekend. The host was extremely responsive. Street parking was easy. Could not have been happier with the stay and would stay here again without hesitation!

The carriage house is so bright, airy, & spacious. We felt so relaxed as soon as we arrived. Kitchen with full size fridge & oven plus everything else you might need. Comfy bed, ample storage everywhere, large shower. Easy parking with permit and very walkable to Goodale Park & High St. The hosts are great with communication & instructions. Very accommodating & friendly. Lovely stay all around!

Lovely spot right on Goodale Park. Close to all the things that the Short North has to offer and easy access to all of Columbus. The place is a true carriage house--upstairs of garage spaces--so no shared walls. Totally updated, modern, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Choice... I almost don't want to praise it so it will be available next time I visit. Amazing location - peaceful park side but 5 minute walk from all of the fun!

The neighborhood is very walkable. There is the COATA bus system that runs on High Street as well as Uber, Lyft, and CoGo bike share. The carriage house is conveniently located near access to I-71, I-670, I-315. The airport is a short 10 minute drive away.
